Pennsylvania Grants EGS License

Harrisburg, PA – January 19th, 2011 – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission granted Capital Energy Services an EGS license, allowing them to begin providing electricity procurement services within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

While the offices of Capital Energy Services are located in New York City, their book of business continues to reach beyond the Tri-State region, and as far as the Midwest. Last month, the NYC brokerage was approved to expand its offerings into Illinois.

“Pennsylvania is an enormous market”, said Caleb Berger, the firm’s President. “While our core marketing focus will most likely remain within the Midwest for the time being, it’s important that we get a feel for these other markets to be prepared for when it becomes time for that focus to shift.”
